About this tool

Made for the task at hand.

Translate integer representations without floating-point precision loss. Source digits are checked against the selected base, and arbitrary-precision arithmetic supports values beyond JavaScript’s safe-integer range.

How to use

  1. Enter an integer using only digits valid in its source base.
  2. Set the source base from 2 to 36 and choose the target base.
  3. Copy the converted integer; letters in bases above 10 are shown uppercase.
Your work stays yours.
Tool inputs are processed locally in your browser and are never sent to KitVerse servers. Clear the workspace when using a shared device.
Common questions
Can I convert fractions such as 101.01?

No. This tool handles signed integers only and rejects decimal points to avoid ambiguous fractional-base conversion.

Why is FF invalid when the source base is 10?

Base 10 accepts digits 0 through 9 only. Select base 16 or another sufficiently large source base for F.
