About this tool

Made for the task at hand.

Translate HSL palette values into hexadecimal notation using the standard cylindrical-color conversion. Hue accepts 0–360 degrees, saturation and lightness accept percentages from 0–100.

How to use

  1. Enter a color such as hsl(210, 100%, 60%).
  2. Check that hue is 0–360 and both percentages are 0–100.
  3. Copy the opaque six-digit HEX result for CSS or design tokens.

Common questions
What does a hue of 360 degrees mean?

It wraps to the same hue as 0 degrees. Other hue values retain their normal position around the color circle.

Can I convert a translucent HSLA color?

Only fully opaque HSLA is accepted. Translucency cannot be represented by this tool’s six-digit HEX output.
