About this tool

Made for the task at hand.

Tidy lightweight Markdown drafts with consistent heading spacing, dash bullets, ordered-list punctuation, and collapsed blank lines. Fenced code blocks retain their content and receive an explicit unclosed-fence error.

How to use

  1. Paste a Markdown draft into the editor.
  2. Run the formatter to normalize supported headings, lists, and spacing.
  3. Review the cleaned text and copy it into your document.
Your work stays yours.
Tool inputs are processed locally in your browser and are never sent to KitVerse servers. Clear the workspace when using a shared device.
Common questions
Is this a full Markdown renderer?

No. It is a conservative source formatter for common syntax; it does not produce HTML or rewrite every Markdown extension.

Does formatting alter code blocks?

Code inside backtick or tilde fences is preserved. An unclosed fence is reported so it cannot accidentally change later prose.
