About this tool

Made for the task at hand.

Turn predictable JSON nodes into XML with proper text and attribute escaping. The schema is the exact counterpart of the XML to JSON converter and supports mixed ordered content.

How to use

  1. Provide a root object with name, attributes, and children.
  2. Use strings for text and nested node objects for child elements.
  3. Generate and copy the indented, escaped XML.
Your work stays yours.
Tool inputs are processed locally in your browser and are never sent to KitVerse servers. Clear the workspace when using a shared device.
Common questions
Is arbitrary JSON automatically mapped to XML?

No. The explicit schema avoids ambiguous conventions. Each node needs a valid name and children array; attributes is optional and defaults to an empty object.

Are text and attribute values escaped?

Yes. Ampersands, angle brackets, quotes in attributes, and relevant control characters are escaped for XML output.
