Common questions
Does this create an .ico file?

No. It generates actual PNG files at the selected sizes and never renames a PNG with a fake .ico extension.

Which fitting mode should I use?

Crop fills the square and trims excess edges; contain preserves the entire source and may add transparent or colored margins.
