About this tool

Made for the task at hand.

Get a small set of understandable static findings with line numbers. This is not presented as a full Dockerfile parser or security scanner.

How to use

  1. Paste a Dockerfile, using backslashes for continued lines.
  2. Review instruction errors and advisory findings.
  3. Validate the final image separately with real builds and scanners.
Your work stays yours.
Tool inputs are processed locally in your browser and are never sent to KitVerse servers. Clear the workspace when using a shared device.
Common questions
Is this a complete Dockerfile lint?

No. It checks known instructions, basic structure, and selected practices; build semantics and every syntax feature are outside its scope.

Does it build or scan an image?

No. No Docker daemon is contacted and no image vulnerability scanning is performed.
