About this tool

Made for the task at hand.

Apply common list operations without a spreadsheet. Transpose delimited rows into columns, decorate lines, reorder them, change case, or cap each line at a precise character limit.

How to use

  1. Enter one list item or delimited row per line.
  2. Choose a transformation and supply its delimiter, “prefix | suffix”, or maximum length when needed.
  3. Copy the transformed list.
Your work stays yours.
Tool inputs are processed locally in your browser and are never sent to KitVerse servers. Clear the workspace when using a shared device.
Common questions
How does transpose handle uneven rows?

It rejects uneven rows. Every input row must contain the same number of columns so no values are silently discarded. Use \t in the secondary field for tabs.

How is the truncation limit counted?

Unicode code points are counted rather than UTF-16 units. Output never exceeds the limit; shortened lines end with an ellipsis that counts as one character.
