About this tool

Made for the task at hand.

Turn firewall and address-plan ranges into aligned CIDR notation. The converter repeatedly selects the largest permitted block, producing a minimal set that covers every address from start through end and nothing outside that interval.

How to use

  1. Enter the first IPv4 address in the inclusive range.
  2. Enter the final IPv4 address, which must not be lower.
  3. Copy the exact CIDR list and address/block totals.
Your work stays yours.
Tool inputs are processed locally in your browser and are never sent to KitVerse servers. Clear the workspace when using a shared device.
Common questions
Will the CIDRs include addresses outside my range?

No. Blocks are selected to cover exactly the inclusive range. Non-aligned boundaries often require several CIDRs rather than one oversized network.

Can the entire IPv4 space be converted?

Yes. A range from 0.0.0.0 through 255.255.255.255 produces 0.0.0.0/0 using unsigned-safe 32-bit calculations.
