About this tool

Made for the task at hand.

Make repetitive edits across an entire document in one pass. Literal modes treat punctuation as ordinary text; regex mode exposes JavaScript patterns and replacement references such as $1 for captured groups.

How to use

  1. Paste your document and enter the rule as find => replacement in the secondary field.
  2. Choose literal, case-insensitive literal, or regular-expression matching.
  3. Review the globally replaced output; use an empty replacement to delete matches.
Your work stays yours.
Tool inputs are processed locally in your browser and are never sent to KitVerse servers. Clear the workspace when using a shared device.
Common questions
How do I delete matched text?

Leave the part after => empty, for example “TEMP => ”. The separator is required so deletion is explicit.

Can regex replacements use captured text?

Yes. Capture with parentheses in the pattern and use $1, $2, and other JavaScript replacement tokens after the separator.
