About this tool

Made for the task at hand.

Extract values from delimited text without naive comma splitting. The parser understands escaped double quotes and newlines inside quoted cells, then flattens records from left to right and top to bottom.

How to use

  1. Paste CSV content and select the delimiter used by the source.
  2. Run the parser; malformed unclosed quotes are reported as errors.
  3. Copy the flattened list, with one parsed field per output line.
Your work stays yours.
Tool inputs are processed locally in your browser and are never sent to KitVerse servers. Clear the workspace when using a shared device.
Common questions
Does each output line represent a CSV row?

No. Each output line is one field. A three-column row therefore contributes three consecutive list entries.

Can quoted cells contain line breaks?

Yes. The parser keeps line breaks inside quoted fields as part of that field rather than starting a new record.
