Price calculation example
The basic text-token estimate separates input and output. For 1,000 input tokens and 500 output tokens:
Input: 1,000 ÷ 1,000,000 × $2.50 = $0.0025Output: 500 ÷ 1,000,000 × $10.00 = $0.005Estimated total: $0.0075 USDEstimated cost; excludes taxes and unsupported billing components. Cached, batch, audio, image, and other special billing components are not included. Tokenizer estimates also make the final cost approximate.
